Chapter 3, page 10

That’s All, Folks!

April 22nd, 2008

Now that Chapter 3 of “Marya and Death” is complete, we’re taking a break for the busy convention season. See us at Stumptown, April 26th and 27th in Portland OR, and at the MoCCA Arts Festival, June 7th and 8th in New York.

Thanks for reading!

Intermission

February 19th, 2008

Sorry for the lack of updates last Thursday. It was a holiday, I was sick, and I hadn’t prepared anything ahead of time.

Taking a short break from the regular storyline right now. I’ve got a book I have to finish before the end of February. Joe has to finish his thesis, do a million other projects, and bring about world peace by early May. His work is also going to be published in Best American Comics 2008! The guy never ceases to amaze me.

Regular storyline should resume in a week or two. In the meantime, here’s a short story I  thumbnailed as part of my original CCS thesis. It’s about mermaids…because sometimes you just need to drop everything and draw mermaids.

Oops!

January 24th, 2008

I accidentally skipped a page. I blame the internet. The whole thing.

The missing page - chapter 2, page 3 - can be seen here.  The story makes more sense with it.

Best Day

January 10th, 2008

Anne Thalheimer did a write-up of “Marya and Death,” as well as some of my other projects over on Fleen.

Did a guest strip for SMILE.

Jon-Mikel updated the Cowboy Orange Blog.

Chapter 2 is up.

And we’re heading to STUMPTOWN!

Also, those auctions end today.

End of Chapter 1

January 8th, 2008

I do love to draw bats. They’ve got such great noses.
Well, that’s all for Chapter 1.  If you’re feeling confused right now, that’s good. Don’t worry, all questions will be answered in time.

Chapter 2 starts Thursday. In the meantime, check out some auctions, or the new galleries.
